In addition to the Public Folder URL including all the documents in the sub-containers displayed in one window, please could we have an additional option to include the sub-containers as displayed on Viewpoint with the documents presented within those sub-containers.

Ah yes, the container name in the download filenames - this causes download failure for many people as the resulting paths are often too long. How come it doesn't use the normal filename pattern as used for Transmittal/Task downloads?

Yes, many times Tender Packs in Virtual Containers get reduced from an organised set of subfolders into one long unwieldly list that is very difficult for suppliers to traverse, not being organised in terms of the Appendices or Schedules from which they are cited. Also the covering letter or main/introductory documents are hard to find when mixed in with all the supporting documents.

Fully support this suggestion. Making the contents of sub-containers visible via a public URL without replicating the hierarchy is moving into chocolate fireguard territory.
And prepending the sub-container name to the file names when using download all.................really?

As you are aware there are better systems which produce enquiry orders and we are trying to get estimators and commercial teams using viewpoint, however one of the issues they DISLIKE is when you copy the URL option: Copy this URL if you do want public files from sub folders included. The sub folders appear in one window as Amanda points out
It would be helpful for these to be separated.

This would encourage our commercial teams to use Viewpoint to send out enquiries and makes it clearer for the recipients.
