If a workflow is built up by multiple sections, it would be beneficial to have the option to right click a 'Decision Node', for example, and template the cascading nodes beneath/beyond that selected. There's no value in templating a single node, midway through an existing workflow, without the option to template the partial workflow beyond that point..

Workflow template management needs an overhaul overall anyway. It's far too cumbersome, having to delete a template and re-create it with no facility to edit or even rename. Also it's impossible to see at which level in the Enterprise each visible template stems from at any one time.
