In our project the contract is administered by use of the NEC bolt on and as such NEC Forms are used to instruct and deliver drawings, this can mean a large number of drawings split over many pages which are currently limited to 5 attachments per page.
The downloading of multiple attachments is complicated by the limited number of attachments per page (5) and the fact that the order of the attachments changes during thew downloading.
1) In the NEC Form attachments box, the attachments shown per page are limited to 5 in number – can this be increased?
2) Can there be some other means of the PM issuing bulk drawings via the NEC Forms apart from them being attached to the form in pages of 5 attachments?
More problematic and time consuming is the fact that when you have multiple pages of attachments and proceed to download the attachments they re-order themselves across the pages which makes for time consuming checking and locating of those already downloaded and identifying those remaining to be downloaded, even resorting to making notes on paper to check off downloads.
3) Can the contents of the attachments box be fixed (in position) so that you can return to the next line item to download without having to list the attachments outside of 4P to ensure all are retrieved?
