Currently, when creating a new project from a template, any workflows require manual adjustment should the users allocated to that project be a specific subset of all users (e.g., Project Managers, Site Managers, Engineers, etc).
When creating a new project, it would be useful for ViewPoint to ask the creator to select which users from these subsets are to be assigned to the project being created. This could then automatically be captured by all workflows set up on the project template where project "roles" have been used to build the workflow.
For example, if an organisation has 20 Engineers distributed across multiple projects, and a new project has 3 of these Engineers assigned to it, the creator would select the 3 Engineers from the user list and the workflows for notification, distribution, document review, etc that relate to Engineers would automatically only apply to the 3 Engineers selected, not the whole group of 20.
This would also save having to create multiple distribution sub-groups each time a new project is created, as ViewPoint would effectively be doing this for you.
