When we update a Standard Cost for a base item in Inventory that is used by multiple Inventory Items (which are Mix Component Items), there should be an option in Inventory Control / Utilities / Adjust List Price Standard Cost to calculate Standard Cost based on the Mix Components Standard Cost combined for all Mix Component items.
The calculated Standard Cost is shown in the Inventory Item screen under the Description: Mix Item - current calculated cost ###.###
But you cannot get it to update. We change our Liquid Asphalt cost every quarter, which affects about 75 mixes. The only way to update this is to manually enter the calculated cost for each item, very time consuming. If our sand prices change it affects all our Asphalt or if our concrete sand price or concrete prices change this can affect 150 mixes.
This update of Standard Cost based on Mix Component Cost is imperative.
