When exporting the contents of a Document Container into an Excel or CSV Report, it would be nice to have the document's shortcode or other URL node within the results that could be used to build the hyperlink that points to a direct download of that item.
Very often we are called upon to provide tables of referenced documents within other documents, or in e-Mails, and there isn't currently a good way in which you can do that whilst including links to provide a direct download to the documents cited.
Every other EDMS system I have used does this (e.g. Conject/BIW, eB, Hummingbird, Documentum) oh, except for one - Asite also doesn't (or purports to but their links don't work).
Copying links out of the Document Container item list into other places does not work well, taking about 10 minutes just for a handful of items and copying lots of styles, form controls and web code that causes things to fall over and is not needed.
Even better - couldn't the hyperlink to the documents be included in the report at source (if in Excel format) with a checkbox to select whether the link is static or dynamic and whether Primary only or Primary/Secondary files?
