When configuring naming conventions there can be a large amount of naming conventions that need to be set. This can lead to the following problems:
a) A number of naming codes which can be very time consuming to enter manually via the browser
b) A number of naming codes which cannot be easily exported into a report format for comparison
When configuring selections on naming convention there should be an option for Export as report or an option to easily copy/paste or import a spreadsheet of selections with their description.

I totally agree and ran into this exact problem this month. It would be very beneficial to have this function for creating the "List" option under the components, (Naming Convention ~ Configure ~ Manage Components ~ List option) especially when you have a DIO Project requirement for ID Picklist. The list(s) can contain hundreds of codes and to input this manually is both tedious and time-consuming. I'm surprised this hasn't been developed already considering other competitors already have this in place.
