Submit Your Suggestions for Viewpoint for Projects

Allow bulk delete of files without having to delete each revision

When deleting (particularly a large batch) documents, it is time consuming having to delete multiple revisions rather than just being able to delete the document/s.  It would be great to be able to select a batch of documents and just delete them.  I imagine this extra step was put in as a security measure but it is very time consuming.  Please can this request be considered?

    Hi Lynda, to batch delete items and their previous revisions you can:

     

    1) Create a temporary folder called "Delete" or something similar

    2) Select all the items you wish to delete and press Actions> Move Items

    3) Move them to this temporary folder and then delete the folder
