While I appreciate and understand Viewpoints commitment to security in carrying out this update, have you any idea of the business impact?
Like many contractors we use public links to DVCs/SVC for a myriad of functions. Having to manually copy the links and re issue is an enormous workload. I know I am not the only contractor to complain of this.
At the very least I would have expected more than a days notice so that resources could be allocated to remedy the issue. Continuous reports of links not working coming in from third parties just makes us look like amateurs.
