By breaking down the 'status' into code and description, it allows for clearer document identification when drawings are downloaded with the appropriate format (no need to include status description here) - more so when the full download format name is the only option for documents downloaded from a public link, we need to ensure we are not increasing character length with adding unnecessary data (such as status description). A two-character reference is sufficient for identification.
This would also allow for auto-detection of upload status from within the original filename - i.e. should the system detect an "...-S3"-... within the filename, it knows it pre-selects the 'S3 - For Review & Comment' status automatically.
