When a transmittal email gets sent out, there is currently no way of the end user knowing what has changed on each of the drawings listed without opening the drawings individually, which is extremely frustrating when hundreds of drawings can be amended at once.
When revising a drawing, could there be a 'Revision Description' box that can be filled in, so a brief description of the drawing amendment can be included?
If this could then be included as a new column in the email transmittal's next to the 'Description' column, it would allow the end user to scan down all the drawings and see if that amendment is relevant to their trade or if they need to take any action.
We are currently frustrating a lot of internal and external users as they are receiving the transmittal's on a weekly basis for several sites and are having to spend a lot of time opening each drawing just to see if the amendment is even relevant to them, which a lot of the time it isn't.
