Matrix Transmittals can be configured so they will only notify of terminated visible workflow items. In many instances a MT is linked to a number of containers and can be a mix of workflow and non-workflow items.
When items terminate to visible, these will be listed in the Matrix Transmittal along with any non-workflow items that were revised. Due to the limited columns on the notification it's difficult to discern which ones are workflow items and which aren't; this adds additional confusion when going directly to the Matrix Transmittal to check for changes against the previous revision, as it will only list the newly uploaded/revised items.
If there were additional columns or customisable columns in the transmittal notification, administrators could add the relevant columns to prevent confusion for their users.
