It would be immensely helpful if Statuses that are assigned due to being inherited from a higher level were indicated as such using a different icon or colour, and a warning given if adding any new Statuses at that level will remove the inherited statuses. OR, when adding Statuses at a lower level, giving a warning of which inherited Statuses are going to be removed as a result - or ideally, simply NOT remove them! A mixture of inherited and non-inherited Statuses ought to simply become a static assignation at that level so that all Statuses showing in white when 'OK' is clicked are left assigned, rather than some of them unceremoniously disappearing afterwards. A 'Reinherit' button could be included at the top of the screen with the warning "This will remove all manually assigned Statuses at this level and replace them with those inherited from higher levels. Are you sure."

I was very pleased to see today (22/02/2022) that the Statuses configuration screen now DOES use colour-coded indications for "Inherited", "Assigned" and "Unassigned"... fantastic! Especially since the last update that removed the different font colours that were used when the options were on a blue background in the previous interface.
