Currently the character length that viewpoint allows for a filename is restricted to 100. Within the ISO Standards a file container should be named appropriately as per EIR and will be stipulated within the BEP. We currently have a very specific naming convention which a major client has introduced and includes additional metadata, this complies with ISO 19650 however the character length exceeds 100 characters and can be anything up to 200. We have to extract the information from PIM CDE (ours) to AIM CDE (Clients) and the user download format does not allow us to customise to what we need to handover to the client, nor does it download with filename due to it exceeding the character length upon upload, causing a major headache and additional work to manually rename downloaded files to allow upload to client CDE.
