We need Viewpoint for Projects (VfP) to store all documents directly in Trimble Connect (TC). We use both platforms, but currently, data stored in VfP doesn't end up in TC automaticaly. All data has to be manually "integrated" in Trimble Connect, with a huge risk of having two different versions in both platforms. Please add the option to have data that is uploaded into VfP to be directly sent to/stored in TC.
Preferably with all metadata that is assigned in VfP, but an simple automatic upload to TC will do for now. And for now, a one direction integration (from VfP to TC) will work for us, this would improve our workflows enormously.
Trimble is working to integrate ProjectSight completely in Trimble Connect, so why not integrate VfP and TC?
We need it now (in 2025). Trimble has annouced further integration of VfP and TC at the Connected Construction Conference in Utrecht in May 2023 (!) but frankly, in our view not much progress, if any, has been made. So, indeed, Come on already!
