You should be able to do everything from the CMR tab with radio buttons or drop downs. Once I create a CMR and print out an COR for the owner to sign we are done. I don't need to bring it back and create an Owner Change Order for them to sign again, its redundant and waste of time. I change the status on the COR from Pending to Approved and we are good. This brings me to my second part, Your requirement for a billing code on the CMR which is just a consecutive number on the billing form. Is the CMR number or the COR number not enough for you. Why don't you place all changes on the billing form in its own separate table like you do for pending change orders. then when you change the CMR from pending to approved it automatically assigns the next consecutive change order or billing number. Our clients know the cost by the COR number anyway not by billing code 55,56, or 57
