When a matrix notification is updated to include more folders, would it be possible for recipients NOT to receive an email as they are confusing this email about notification changes with new/revised documents notifications.

How is this still an issue two years later ?
This is a really urgent change. Our users are trying to actively maintain Matrix Transmittals and are advised to save regularly (especially due to performance issues). This is not feasible when adding containers and recipients as each save issues the transmittal. A Save or Apply button is needed.
Totally agree. This is a real pain and not something most of our users expect to be happening. There needs to be a SAVE option and a separate TRANSMIT option.
