If you have seen any modern file sharing web sites, you'll notice that they expose bulk downloading at the folder level...i.e. box, dropbox, onedrive, icloud, ect.
You'll also notice that the ones that don't have this at least have a stable enough website to support the bulk file download functionality without crashing each time...it is very frustrating.
Even with the explorer plug-in your forced to individually go through each folder and manually copy the files and re-build the folder structure if you want to maintain a 1to1 related MFI locally on your machine or within your own more commercial, more robust, less buggy, and cheaper file sharing software package.
I don't understand why you don't expose at least a per-folder. (so you an still control permissions to the folder level)
