I wish to use virtual folders to gather linked documents for specific purposes and external uses, and store them appropriately in the folder structure. However, when a virtual folder is created under a Document Container, and not at the project level, the Direct Access option is missing. This means that files linked into the virtual folder are not visible to those who have access to the parent document container. I must disable the inherit permissions of each file, one by one, to then enable the virtual folders permission settings to take effect.
