Multiple login accounts caused by 'New user'

Project- or Tender Managers can by mistake invite without searching first, and simply select the 'New user' link, there is no check or possibility to merge the user to an existing login profile. Some scenarios:

1. when a Project/Tender admin invites (maybe by mistake) a ‘New user’, but the user already excites. The system should advise Admin to select the existing profile, and by that avoid end user login confusion.
2. or when the user receives an invitation as a ‘New user’, the user should be able to select his/her existing profile when e-mail address is the identical.
3. merging users then in a Tender should be possible, in all normal users views, there is absolutely no different between a project or tender user profiles. If the system is designed to support e.g. a Client being both Tender admin and a Bidder, then change that, it creates big frustration amongst most users in a tender process. In other words, only a few benefits, but most is bothered.

Several other unnecessary complex functionalities with user administration can be discussed, but to start out with, if a basic user login profile can be forced to one single per e-mail adress … happy days!
