Hi all,
This was an important decision that we didn't take lightly here at Viewpoint. Microsoft dropped mainstream support of Windows 7 back in 2015 and it's now in 'Extended Support' mode. We elected to focus our efforts on the OS version that Microsoft currently supports under 'Mainstream' as listed here https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/13853.
We know there are many users out there still on Windows 7 and that's one of the reasons we've kept 4Explorer available even with the launch of VFP Desktop.
