Enable adding to Virtual Containers as part of Upload process

Currently, in order to add a document to virtual containers, I have to upload it first, then highlight it and run the Attach To... command to add it to virtual containers. It would be useful to do this as part of the document upload screen, thereby retaining a one-stage process. We make extensive use of Virtual Containers as document filters. Having to attach documents seperately to uploading them causes some to be missed and increases the difficulty of training new users. It's also very difficult to explain to a user why they can't do it!

  Why no movement on this after 5 years?

  If this idea ever IS implemented, it would be handy for the most recently-edited VCs to appear in a list with a tickbox next to each one, as part of the metadata Edit screen.

  Sometimes I have minor issues finding documents.  The filing needs to be in the place that you would want / expect it to be.  My only other point is that the LR titles were not up to date bearing in mind that we have sold off quite a few large chunks of land

  Upload New Item - Option To Link to DVC Merged

  When uploading a New Item ( document ) can we have an option to be able to link information to Dynamic Virtual Containers or Static Virtual Containers as we are uploading the document. Rather than have to upload it and then select and link to DVCs
