The addition of a setting to allow files issued via public link or attached to a Virtual Container to be accessible whatever their visibility status in a Workflow. Currently if documents are in a non-visible workflow, the public link/VC will be empty.
This would allow tender information to be issued out via public links or packages to be put together that overrides all security/visibility settings.

Yes and until this option is provided, it's only going to encourage QSs to argue with and walk off and ignore Document Control because, yet again, in their words, "the poxy DC system won't do what we need it to." Frustrates us DCs and yet makes us the target for QSs' venom and abuse.

Causes us problems as well - we use the Virtual Containers and Public Links for sending documents to Subcontractors who are being asked to price the job (Subcontractors do not have access to that Project on Viewpoint, until they possibly awarded the job).
We need documents to be visible to all potential subcontractors, even whilst they are going through a workflow review. I have had to go in and change my workflows, ticking the visible box, so that it rectifies the problems, with future documents that are put through workflows.
Needed much quicker than 6 months if possible, causes us major problems with using Virtual containers for tendering where we use workflows on projects.
