Please find a solution that avoids the user having to keep ticking the include 'subcontainers' box. It is one of the most commonly missed steps by users trying to find documents in the system. If VFP is to be intuitive to users (helping us reduce the amount of training required), this is one of those UI changes that would make a difference.

We agree, this needs to be default behaviour when clicking the search tab.

We are aware it is already available by right clicking, however that is not what a user EXPECTS to do. If you look at user behaviour, the normal route is to click on a folder and search in it. This should be the same process on ANY folder. If this doesn't suit every VFP customer, then defaulting the tick should be made a system parameter.

This solution is available via right clicking on the container in the navigation tree > Search. This action will automatically select sub-containers as part of your search criteria.
