Submit Your Suggestions for Viewpoint for Projects

Email attachments from task contaners

When raising a task with attachments it would be very useful for these attachments to be included in the email the recipient receives so that they do not have to log into 4P to be able to see the attachment, or even a link to the individual attachments for instant download.

    This would be extremely helpful for external parties who has hesitant to use Viewpoint and don’t want to log in. The ability to have the attachment in the email notification would negate their need to log in.

    yes, I rand the helpline regarding this quary today.

    and it also woudl be greate to be able to create a report of task with listed attachments. currently only tels you (attachemtn: yes or no) but there is no way to get a file name listed.

     

    basicaly what i would like to be able to do is:

    create the report of task with listed attachments (file names) and hyperlinks to registered documents. Tha would be magical!

    taks number (hyperlink to access)

    date

    by who,

    to who,

    reason for issue

    sent attachments

    • not register file name
    • registered files (hyperlinks)

    due date

    statuse

    date responded

    who responded

    incomming attachments

    • not register file name
    • registered files (hyperlinks)

     

    there also should be option to zip dowload tasks WITH ATTACHMENTS not just the body of the tasks.
