Over the weekend the 'Wates view' has been added or amended and has too many columns for anyone using as laptop ie almost all of us we cannot see the information we need only the first few characters of each column.

Views are actually configurable by users and administrators and don't require action from Viewpoint to customize. You can create your own view (visible only to yourself) at any time - further instructions are available on our help site here.
You could also your administrator that they modify the number of columns/width of columns to better fit laptop screens.
Lastly, there is a small black button on the toolbar (screenshot attached) that will expand all columns. This of course won't help them fit on your screen, but will expand them to usable width where you can read the text and allow you to scroll left and right.
