Why was this not implemented, and how do you get this weekly report mentioned three comments above?
Since we added the feature to add a pending invitee to a Distribution Group, we are hearing less of a need for this feature.
I would add the user to distribution groups and possibly other sub-projects. I get around this problem now by adding each person individually instead of adding a group of names at the same time, so I can at least search for the names to see who has or has not accepted the invite. It's a pain, but at least it works.

Sorry this went into my junk email & only just seen it.
I would also add them to the metadata nodes on the workflow in place, as you cannot add security groups to these.
In which case you have to wait for them to accept there invite & add them as individuals. But you have to keep checking to see if they have accepted.

For me, it would be to add to a distribution group. However I now understand that being added to a distribution group without having accepted the invitation is being looked at, so that would help as we could do at the same time as the invitation.

From my perspective it would be to add the new user to both Distribution Group and Transmittal, I understand that invitations could also include addition to a Distribution Group in future but it would help to know that invitations have been accepted or not.

would be useful to opt in to receive a weekly update on all invites sent - used for chasing up acceptance rather than checking each individual invite and then to prompt administrator to update distribution groups, issue information, update workflow (if user specific)

Can I ask you what followup actions you would take upon receiving a confirmation of acceptance email for a new user? Add to Distribution Group? Add to a transmittal? Any others?

Viewpoint generates a weekly Invitation report for this purpose (you may have to request this) - I receive mine every week and can filter down accepted and unaccepted invites.
I would prefer not to receive more emails to let me know when/if an invite has been accepted. The weekly report summarises all.
