When clicking on a "Vote Required" workflow notification you are taken to the container the document was uploaded to, and the document properties window pops up in the foreground.
It's very common for users to close the pop-up and go hunting through the list of documents to find the item they need to vote on because it's not obvious you can click the Workflow link in the properties window (see attached screenshot).
Making it more obvious (as simple as adding "CLICK HERE TO VOTE!" next to that link) would save a lot of people a lot of clicks.
