Have the system capture these emails in the activity log of the container or something similar.

The system needs to have the ability exactly same as outlook. Simplification would be that this should be on an organisation basis i.e., Anyone within my organisation can view the communication received by me on the project including any communications I send. So if I were off-sick or on holiday they have something to refer to or in the instance when people move on within or outside the organisation the person taking over can reflect on the history.
Why not email them back into 4P by assigning an email address to a container?
Jeremy,
It would sufficient for us if your system connected to our office 365 and sent out the emails via our mail client.
At present 4P seems to rely on a third party email system to function manageably. Ideally, 4P should act as an entirely standalone system with an integrated email section which mimics MS Outlook or equivalent.
Thank you for your suggestion. We are planning to work on a new feature around "correspondence management" that will allow user to better manage emails either by starting processes with them or capturing in-progress emails back to our system.
I would like to hear more from our user as to additional needs and requirements you all may have.
