Whenever you revise a Matrix Transmittal, adding or removing a new container or a new recipient, it revises the transmittal and sends out a notification to all recipients, stating that nothing has changed. This generates yet further unnecessary and confusing emails.
Please could there be a Save button for changes (that don't need to update the MT revision letter) and then let the normal schedule pick up and transmit any document updates.

The whole Matrix Transmittal system needs to be scrapped and started again. It is just not structured in a way that is fit for purpose at all. A system is supposed to add benefit and make things easy, not create work for DCs just to keep sidestepping ever-growing lists of quirks and workarounds. It's like buying a car that you have to push to get anywhere rather than the car actually moving for you.
Any update ?
Please can we have the ability to edit the container and users preferences without it transmitting all info again? It confuses users receiving potentially a long list of items they have already been notified on and requires the person editing to explain why they are receiving a new revision.
Yes this always confuses everyone.
Agreed with other comments its confusing and add uneccisarily to e-mail traffic
I agree - It becomes confusing for those receiving the blank emails, especially when metadata has been changed (does this need to be included?). A save button would be ideal.
