Automatically adding a copy of the file name into description!

For the love of God please automatically populate the description box with an exact copy of the file name then it can be changed if needed i have literally just uploaded easily over 1000 files and having to copy and paste the file name into the description for EVERY item has nearly finished me!

    This appears to have now been implemented on our Enterprise, is there a way to turn it off?

    Hi all,

    This suggestion does not hit the majority of use cases when registering documents into VfP, therefore this is not something that we would look to automate.

    Please don't do this, why do you need a duplicate of the file name? Description is for additional information.

    if you do this with personal container, it copies the file name to both the Name and description fields, a lot easier to edit 1000 items than cut and paste, drop me a line and I will help where I can. jearle@henryconstruction.co.uk
