Can the folder structure be synced to desktop so that folders could be worked on offline as currently done with Office 365
This is critical for operations teams working on site in patchy internet areas. Buzzsaw had the buzzsaw sync app which worked perfectly. Select a project or folder within the project, then the desktop application syncs the contents to your desktop just like Gdrive or dropbox.
I would argue this is not shipped.
As Josh below asked on the 2nd of february and Søren Valentin responded, we have not got the below as disscussed and what we have detailed out at many group meetings with VP.
We cant seem to choose what to Sync. The offline function only seems to sync any folders you have opened in the past and files. And if you havent opened the file in the past week, the offline version will also be a week old, even through you have been in the online mode. Meaning it doesnt actually sync automatically and requires you to open every single file manually to sync.
I could have done that anyway by downloading them all.

Maybe I should have been more specific....and stated that we need it for the vast majority of computers that use windows 7. Many organisations dont yet have Windows 8/10.
What is the latest feed back on this so we inform current users on our team?
We created our own API plugin to be able to save directly to VFP from any application.

I picture this functioning the same as Dropbox.com. You select what containers you want for offline access and you can then manipulate the documents and save as back to the folder which then syncs when connected to internet.
I really hope this gets implemented. I was told by our sales rep that it was in the construction stage which is the major reason we chose to purchase the software.
I consent an offline synchronization of selected document folders with the option to including subfolders, a functionality that handles editerede documents and synchronize when online (DaaS) would be a game changer for VfP. Thanks

In this situation would you be looking to selectively decide which containers you want to synchronize to your desktop?
Do you expect you would edit these documents offline and then want to upload them back to VFP when you're back online?
