John Paul Construction currently are running a project with Viewpoint and in particular are rising Tasks - Request for information (RFI). When we raise an RFI we can only assign this to one person. The design team are constantly complaining that only the person it is assigned to can close the task out and if this person is off sick or on holidays then nobody else can close the task out.
Can Viewpoint please review this and look at the option of assigning more than one person to a task.

I suppose it should be possible to raise an RFI to few users and then the system splits the initial communication to all users applying specific ID (subsequent number). That would allow for RFI's (not only though) to be sent to multiple branch coordinators, engineers etc.

An RFI has to be assigned to someone, but I was asked the question yesterday of could it be an option to assign an RFI to a distribution group, so that any member of the team can jump on the Viewpoint system and respond to the RFI.

The ability to be able to issue a task to more the one person is important as it will delete a natural road block in this process. Can this be looked into, or look at the option of removing the assignee from tasks.
