Date format should use the current operating system date format. Currently exports to Excel will not allow date calculations between columns.

days (ie Tuesday, Thursday) should be also removed from the metadata.
Exporting to "csv" rather than "xls" seems to fix this date problem.
Extra changes can be carried out in Excel too, using the Data/ Text to Columns menu options. Also, right click Format Cells/ Number/ Date
I'm sick of these weird date formats. Follow Us Customs or the OS default
