If enterprise-level custom fields are applied to a project and that project is saved as a template, it would be helpful to have those custom fields automatically applied to the same containers when that template is applied to create a new project. For customers with custom fields applied to many folders or many custom fields, the project creation process can be very laborious as they need to edit the enterprise-level custom field group to include containers in their new project each time.

totally agree - I have just posed something similar ( sorry I didnt see this one first) but to clarify they don't need to be enterprise level ANY custom field should be copied and set by the template - so long as they are configured correctly then they should cascade down
