Is this really the only way to share distribution groups with the project team? It seems ridiculous that you have to go into each distribution group, add the security group and change the permissions for each and every distribution group, particularly seeing as the whole point of distribution groups is to make life easier. Surely at the very least they should be visible to everyone on the project by default, particularly seeing as we now finally have the ability to add users to these at invitations stage.
Any update on this please?

Please consider this as it is so time consuming to go back an amend the permissions. Also so difficult to keep track when site doc cons set up new groups which power users are unable to see.

I agree entirely. What would be even better is if it included the 'Inherit Permissions' option (tick box), with the default being 'ticked', for better control at Power Admin level.
