Batch vote function from virtual containers please

Single item vote is already a function from virtual containers. Batch voting is time effective

Items required for voting can be grouped together in one place - making it easier for the voters to see - batch voting already easier for voters

I was asked by my Design Management Team if this could be done - I checked with Viewpoint support and was told - yes - but it wasn't clarified as only single item voting - so I delivered a workshop and advised DMT they could.

This function would be hugely helpful when signing off large volumes of design information that is split into packages and where information can be cross referenced and group for ease. It would allow our DM's to work through packages in a systematic format and close them out individually with separate originators. It would also easily allow us to identify after everything is completed whether any information had not been included by accident in the virtual folders

This has been requested frequently by our users. Yes, you can do an advanced search then batch vote from there, however that doesn't help when you are in virtual containers which are broken down by packages for example handover subfolders. It is not possible to pick all these items up in using advanced search so voting from virtual containers would be incredibly useful.

Using the Dashboard or the Advanced Search would be the quickest ways to identify the items that require your vote within a signle workflow.

From there, you can use the Actions Menu to select Vote/Comment.

As long as the items you are voting on are within the same workflow, at the same node and it's the same vote you are casting, you can vote in a batch.

This function is needed urgently - we have items linked into DVC's for members or compliance team (who are not permitted access to the original location) to vote.  At the moment we are having to place votes on their behalf which could legally cause problems down the line.

Is this not resolved now with the Workflow Dashboard?

Please can I have an update on this suggestion? I am concerned that looking back through previous/related suggestions are showing 'planned' since 2016.

    Thanks
