I’d like to propose several AI-driven enhancements that would significantly improve productivity, data quality, and decision‑making within Viewpoint for Projects. Many leading construction platforms are already implementing similar capabilities, and it would be great to see VfP continue to evolve in this direction.

Suggested AI Features

1. AI‑Powered Document Search & Interrogation
   Introduce natural‑language search across project files so users can ask questions and instantly retrieve relevant information. Competitors offer similar capabilities where AI scans documents, drawings, and records to provide answers or summaries.

2. Automated Document Classification & Metadata Tagging
   AI could auto‑categorise documents, extract key fields, identify revision numbers, and populate metadata—reducing admin effort and improving ISO 19650 consistency. Several platforms already use AI to classify information and section specifications automatically.

3. Predictive Project Insights & Risk Highlighting
   Applying machine‑learning to issues, RFIs, approvals and workflows could help highlight emerging risks before they escalate. Other systems are already offering proactive risk scoring and performance prediction.

4. AI‑Assisted Workflow Automation
   Allow AI to suggest or automate routing of reviews and approvals, identify bottlenecks, and optimise workflow steps. Competing platforms already support AI agents that automate administrative processes and suggest next actions.

5. AI-Based Summaries for Design Reviews, RFIs, and Meetings
   Automatically generate clear summaries, action lists and decision logs from uploaded documents or review sessions. This mirrors capabilities found in AI assistants in other construction management solutions.
